There are many ways to reduce wrinkles. Some non-medical methods include skincare lines, natural methods, supplements, and treatments such as Laser, Dermabrasion, and Peels for example. Treatment for excessive sweating

Hyperhidrosis is a medical term for excessive sweating. It is not a life-threatening condition, but it can seriously affect your quality of life. Besides being a big inconvenience and costing you money, hyperhidrosis can cause skin breakouts, unpleasant odours and promote infection. The good news is that it can be successfully treated. There are a number of options… the first step is to discuss the condition with your doctor, or a book a consultation at Power’s Medical Aesthetics.

Some medical ways to treat hyperhidrosis (underarms) can include antiperspirants, surgical severing of nerves to sweat glands, oral medications, or BOTOX® Therapeutic injections to the underarm. This latter method interrupts the signal from the nerves to the sweat glands, lasts on average seven months, and if often covered by private health plans.

Some non-medical methods include under-arm soaker pads, homeopathic methods, and psychotherapy.

 

JUVÉDERM® TREATMENTS

We use the Juvéderm® family of dermal fillers at Power's Medical Aesthetics, including Voluma®, Volbella and the new Volift®. They are made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar molecule made in your body, which when injected combines with water in your skin to instantly restore lost volume and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Popular areas treated are lips for better border definition and volume, cheeks, laugh lines, and marionette lines. The filler can contain lidocaine, a mild freezer to reduce injection discomfort. Ample icing, smaller needles and slower injecting technique can contribute to a more comfortable experience. At Power's Medical Aesthetics, appointment times are generously long to give extra ice time. Redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising at injection site is possible. How does BELKYRA™ work?

How many treatments will I need?

CHEMICAL PEELS:

A great treatment to combat aging, dull skin, repair damage from pigmentation issues, wrinkles & acne/scarring is chemical peels. They can be targeted to specific needs from a light peel to a deeper peel for amazing results. Most peels don't require any down time, however stronger ones can cause peeling/flaking of dull skin. Sun screen is absolutely a must when getting chemical peel treatments, even in winter. Best results are done with a series of treatments, typically every 3-4 weeks until results are achieved.
